Separation, Divorce and Life Transitions

Separation and divorce can bring a mix of strong, difficult, and conflicting thoughts and feelings—sadness, anger, uncertainty, relief, fear, and hope, sometimes all at the same time. And when you've deeply valued marriage as a lifelong commitment, this season can feel especially painful and complicated. You may find yourself wrestling with your faith, your values, or the decision itself, wondering how to reconcile what you hoped your marriage would be with what you're experiencing now.

Whether you're considering separation, navigating the process of divorce, or finding your footing afterward, our work together can provide a much-needed compassionate space where you can be honest, heard, and supported without judgment. In our therapy work, we'll process what you're experiencing, make sense of the changes, and reconnect with who you are outside of the relationship. As someone who has walked this road myself and experienced the challenges and healing that can come through divorce, I bring both professional experience and personal understanding to this work. I know what it's like to walk through the uncertainty, confusion, and pain, and I would be honored to walk alongside you as you find your path forward.

Together, we can work through the grief and uncertainty, build healthy boundaries, and create a new dream and a new future that is grounded in your values and true to who you are.

Or maybe you're facing another major life change or transition, which can also bring its own mix of grief, uncertainty, excitement, and fear. Whether you're adjusting to an empty nest, grieving the loss of a partner or loved one, moving to a new place, navigating a job or career change, heading off to college, or graduating and beginning your life as an independent adult, you may find yourself wondering who you are and what comes next. Therapy can provide a supportive space to process the changes, honor what you're leaving behind, and find your footing as you step into a new chapter.
